Baldwin model R grand Piano 5’8” in pristine condition. One owner like new.

Baldwin Model R Grand Piano — 5′8″ — Satin Ebony
Pristine Condition • One Owner • A History We Know

Some pianos stand out the moment you see them. This Baldwin Model R is one of those instruments.

Originally sold brand new to its owner by my father through Lansford Piano, Chattanooga’s Baldwin dealer at the time, this beautiful grand remained in the same home its entire life. It was treasured, carefully maintained, and tuned twice a year. Its spotless satin ebony cabinet reflects that exceptional care.

At 5′8″, the Model R offers a beautiful grand piano presence without requiring a concert-sized room. This is an opportunity to own a meticulously cared-for Baldwin with a personal connection to our family’s piano business.

To my eyes and ears, it’s even more appealing today than when it was new. Come experience its tone, touch, and remarkable condition for yourself.

Our family continues the Lansford service name and a piano tradition reaching back more than 100 years. We’re proud to welcome this instrument back and help it find its next home.
